About us
Aum Piano Studio is a music education platform founded by Padmavathy Divakaran, an Indian born Western-classical pianist and electronic music keyboardist, with an aim to inspire and equip aspiring piano and electronic keyboard students across the world with necessary tools to progress actively in their journey of music making. We, the teachers here at Aum Piano Studio, work hard to unite globally-spread music aspirants under one roof to feel more connected as musicians regardless of where we are all at in our individual music learning journey.
Our ambition
We make music because we believe that music making leads to one of the most sincere and open-minded forms of friendship both with ourselves and with others for it expresses all that which are hard to say in words and all that which are impossible to remain silent or indifferent to upon hearing. Therefore, our vision as well as our mission is that every child gets a chance to get closer to music - as a right - that as they have access to food, health and education, that they get the chance to have art and culture, especially music.
